Terms of Service

These terms govern access to Strata, its cloud features, AI tools, website, and community feedback board.Last updated July 20, 2026

1. Using Strata

You may use Strata only if you can legally agree to these terms. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity performed through your credentials. Do not share credentials or attempt to bypass access, rate, or security controls.

2. License

Strata grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended productivity and planning purposes. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom agreement is provided through App Store Connect.

3. AI features

AI-generated plans, transcriptions, summaries, and suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Review every proposed schedule before applying it. Strata is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency service, and AI output should not be treated as professional advice or used where an error could cause harm.

4. Calendar Sync

Imported device calendar events are shown as planning anchors. Strata does not modify or delete the source event through the read-only sync feature. You remain responsible for the accuracy and availability of calendars configured on your device.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Strata a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve product functionality and reliability, support the service, or comply with law. This limited license does not authorize Strata to train a Strata AI model on your content. Shared features display content to the people you deliberately share it with.

6. Friends and community safety

Verified accounts receive an automatically created Friends identity. When the Firebase Authentication display name has a safe, usable first word, Strata uses that word as the initial display name and username base, adding a short uniqueness suffix only if needed; otherwise it uses neutral random defaults. Defaults are never derived from the email address, and existing customized Friends profiles are preserved. There is no public profile directory; exact usernames or friend codes are used to send requests, and productivity sharing remains private until a request is accepted and per-friend sharing is enabled. When you use Friends or edit profile text, you agree to the Community Guidelines and must not publish harassment, threats, hateful, sexual, unlawful, deceptive, infringing, impersonating, or spam content. Strata checks profile and shared text for high-confidence targeted slurs; general profanity is not automatically blocked, but all content remains subject to these rules. Strata may filter or remove content and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Use the in-app report and block controls or contact support@strataaa.org for safety concerns.

7. Feedback board

Board posts appear under a random alias, but Strata privately retains account linkage for voting, moderation, deletion, and safety. By submitting product feedback, you allow Strata to use the idea without restriction or compensation. Do not post confidential information, personal contact details, unlawful material, harassment, impersonation, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights. The developer may edit status, remove content, restrict access, and preserve records needed to address abuse.

8. Availability and changes

Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Strata may update these terms when the product or law changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

9. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for material violations, harmful behavior, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements. You may stop using Strata and initiate account deletion at any time.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strata is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free AI output. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strata is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, missed reminders, scheduling outcomes, or reliance on AI output. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed in your jurisdiction.

12. Contact
