Delete your Strata account

Account deletion is initiated inside the Strata app so the request is securely tied to the signed-in account.Last updated July 20, 2026

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent. Review anything you want to keep and remove shared access where appropriate. The feedback board has a separate self-service control if you want to erase only board activity, but you do not need to use it before deleting your full Strata account.

Steps in the app

  1. Open Strata and sign in.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Read the confirmation and complete the requested verification.
  5. Confirm permanent deletion.

What deletion covers

Full account deletion removes your authentication account, associated private Strata app data, email-lifecycle contact, Friends profile and relationships, and linked feedback-board identity, requests, comments, votes, and reports. Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or completion of the deletion request. Operational backups expire on their own delayed retention schedule.

If cleanup cannot finish immediately

Strata records the deletion request before attempting provider cleanup. The app truthfully reports whether sign-in was disabled and saves an opaque confirmation reference on that device. A durable job retries due requests oldest-first with bounded backoff for up to 30 days. The signed-out screen checks the reference and confirms completion; if automatic cleanup reaches its limit, it instead asks you to contact Support with the non-secret reference for manual review.

If you cannot access the app

Use the Support page or email support@strataaa.org for deletion assistance. Never send a password, verification code, authorization token, or API key.
