Feedback board
Community Guidelines
The board is for thoughtful product feedback under privacy-preserving aliases. These rules keep it useful and safe.Last updated July 20, 2026How anonymity works
Strata assigns each signed-in member a permanent random animal alias. Other members never see your email, app display name, profile, or account ID and cannot search for you in Strata using the alias. Strata privately retains account linkage for access control, voting, deletion, and safety.
Be useful and respectful
- Describe the problem, use case, and desired outcome clearly.
- Search for an existing request before creating a duplicate.
- Discuss ideas, not people.
- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, spam, manipulate votes, or disrupt the board.
- Do not post unlawful, sexually exploitative, violent, hateful, infringing, or deliberately deceptive material.
Protect privacy
Do not include your name, email, phone number, address, password, authentication code, private calendar content, health information, or another person's personal information. The board automatically rejects common email-address and phone-number patterns, but you remain responsible for what you submit.
Developer participation
Every request is read by the developer. Official replies display a verified Developer badge, and roadmap statuses are updated as ideas are reviewed, planned, built, completed, or closed. Reading a request does not guarantee implementation or a particular timeline.
Reporting and moderation
Use Report on a thread that violates these guidelines. The developer may review account-linked moderation records, remove or close content, restrict board access, and preserve records needed for safety or legal compliance. Repeated or severe violations may also affect access to Strata services.
In-app Friends safety
After verification, Strata assigns a Friends identity automatically. When the Firebase Authentication display name has a safe, usable first word, Strata uses that word as the initial display name and username base, adding a short uniqueness suffix only if needed; otherwise it uses neutral random defaults. Defaults are never derived from the email address, and an existing customized Friends profile is preserved. There is no browsable directory; someone must use the exact username or friend code to send a request, and full profiles are limited to the owner, request participants, and accepted friends. Provider-derived defaults and profile edits are checked for high-confidence targeted slurs; unsafe defaults fall back to neutral values, unsafe edits are rejected, and general profanity is not automatically blocked. You can privately report a profile for moderation or block another user. Blocking removes the friendship and pending requests in both directions and prevents discovery, profile and shared-data access, requests, accepts, and nudges between the two accounts until you unblock. Reports are not shown to the reported user, and unblocking does not restore a prior friendship. Strata reviews safety reports and aims to respond to confirmed violations within 24 hours; you can also reach support@strataaa.org.
Deleting your activity
Use “Delete my feedback-board data” on the board to remove only your requests, comments, votes, reports, and public alias. Full account deletion from Strata Settings automatically includes that board activity and uses durable background retries if a temporary provider failure prevents immediate completion; the separate board control is optional.
